McCarthy Sr. and featuring Kaitlyn McCarthy as Rose, Bryan Kress as Frank and Jim McCarthy Jr. as Jeff.   Two college boys meet a young woman along a lonely highway whose innocence and friendliness belies a tragic and romantic secret.  Frank falls hoplessly in love with her and Jeff is surprised and shocked to learn what his friend will do For the Love of Rose.

Alternate reality of "For the Love of Rose" - After the loss of his beloved wife Rose, Frank falls into a deep depression but is dedicated to keeping his promise to visit Rose every day and shows his love by bringing her a single red rose with each visit.  A lifetime in his arms, she is now forever in his heart.  Reprising their roles are Kaitlyn McCarthy as Rose, Bryan Kress as Young Frank, and Nancy Cottingham as Vera.

Our film is a soulful character study about an Old Man whose tragic past intertwines with that of a young couple’s future.  "It Might Have Been” is the heartfelt love story of Nancy and Johnny who are at a crossroads in their relationship and where the Old Man’s past experience might save them from making a horrible mistake that could affect the rest of their lives.
